However the main focus of this page is to highlight Montway auto transport's online success as a vehicle transport broker. As shown on (screenshot below), montway is based in Chicago Illinois with 3 registered transport broker accounts.

What does a auto transport broker do?

Auto transport brokers like Montway and A-z auto transport contract licensed auto carriers or independent truckers to pickup and deliver the customers vehicle. These carriers or truckers are all located on various load boards used by auto dealer, brokers and carriers for a monthly fee. As of such all licensed brokers have access to the same carriers in all 50 States. Montway has been very successful in controlling high volume terms used by online customers seeking out a vehicle shipping company. While they are successful online, many registered auto carriers refuses to work with them because of the payment terms. Auto carriers are normally paid COD (cash on delivery), companies that set the contracts at 1-31 days for payment acts as the carrier company while in reality they are just the brokers holding onto the carriers pay. Montway holds the carriers pay up to 21 days after delivery, as of such many carriers refuses to work with them causing them to increase their offers to the carriers which is passed onto the customers.
